Better Day Today

I had company today in the form of Lady P’s hound: Chips. He’s a bloody furry terrorist hiding behind separation anxieties and the handicap of being a one year old springer spaniel. He’s a wonderful companion if you don’t mind the constant underfoot company and tendency to panic if you are out of view for more than five seconds.

I’d agreed to babysit him for the day, and as annoyed as I might sound, or look from the claw marks in the picture, I can’t deny that the company has helped lift my mood. I’m glad to see him go home, but I do now miss the chaotic bundle of energy in the flat. Before you ask, no I won’t be applying to adopt him.

So, the mood is rising again, just in time for the weekend, Sunday’s Tabletop game and opportunities to reassert being awesome, come hell, high water, or overattentive puppies…
