Tshirt Things

I spent some time this weekend putting a couple of reworked designs on the Amazon site, and starting to work through translation settings for non-English versions.

As there’s over six hundred clothing variants across a number of languages that are in turn spread over the nearly eighty designs I’ve current got up, I’m doing them in small batches. Some of the more niche D&D related ones will probably end up getting rotated out in time but for now they’re good for practice so they’ll stay up.

The two newest designs are called Ignition and Hungry Love and I hope its not just me who likes them. They are available on both UK and US sites at present, under the Ludd Clothing brand, and I’ll work on French, German, Italian, and Japanese versions soon.

More Markets

I’m pretty sure I mentioned a while back that I’d been notified that Amazon were about to start widening my access to various markets with a program of translation into various languages in an automated process.

Well, that process is now underway, and my Ludd Clothing items are now available in not only the UK and US versions of Amazon but also the French, German, and Japanese markets as well. Looking at my visitor statistics I can see regular visitors from each of those areas, so if you’re interested please take a look and I’ll endeavour to put direct links up for each of the .de .fr .jp and .com versions in addition to the .co.uk version above.

So, that’s a thing that’s happening.

DDC Merch?

It started as a joke, but to paraphrase Dr Frankenstein… it’s alive! Or Live on Amazon anyway: the first bit of merchandise related to the DDC Dungeons and Dragons group is available to buy from Amazon in the UK right now:

Grave Robbing: The DDC film poster Raglan Baseball Tee

Grave Robbing: The DDC film poster Tshirt

So, that’s a thing that’s happened… More designs are in development, and it looks like I’ll have to stick a bunch of links together in due course.

Didn’t see this coming…

Games and Pictures

The last few days been a bit of a swirling mess brain wise, but it’s been productive too. Sunday’s D&D game was great fun and we’ve recorded the silliness on YouTube

I was asked earlier in the day on social media to sum up what was in store for them, and I’d said ‘missing persons’ so I think we delivered on that.

One of the things we’ve started talking about has been some degree of merchandise. I’ll do that through Amazon as I finalise the designs as I’ve got extra design slots now available. We’ve been bouncing ideas around, and I’ll be mocking some designs up over the next few weeks.

If nothing else it gives me an excuse to do some silly things and have people wear them.

Other than that, I’m mostly preoccupied with the upcoming restructure at work, and with an operation that Lady M will be having soon – oh, and the joys of living under pandemic lockdown conditions as a key worker – but at least I’m earning…

Buy My Stuff

Might as well be blatant about it for a moment. After years of people saying “oh you should do this professionally”, or “you could sell your art” I’ve caved and opened a Redbubble store at Ludd72.redbubble.com and begun filling it with both old and new stuff. Some of it will have been seen on Instagram in some form or another, but a lot of it is going to be brand new as I’ve been taking fresh photos of some of my line art.

Yes, this design is in the store

There’s prints, canvases, stickers, pins, some t-shirts, dresses hoodies, even a couple of clocks and duvet covers, all depending on the resolution of the original artwork and I’m going to keep adding to it – because we all know I can’t stop drawing stuff even if I wanted to. A lot of my older stuff tended to be done for web sites only, so they’re only really suitable for smaller pieces – so at the very minimum there will be pins/badges with those designs – but newer stuff and actual photography will be on the larger items.

Go on, have a look, put a smile on my face and maybe get one on your own…

I’m not good at this commercial stuff…
