Steampunk King Triton

This was sort of thrown together to accompany Lady S as Ariel and it was the first time I used dye on my beard. I didn’t do many photoshoots, but it was a fun character to relax into. The trident was assembled in two parts – a repainted plastic one from a party supplies shop and the haft constructed from layers of thin card and sellotape. The tshirt and the bracers came via Amazon and Wish respectively, while the waistcoat is the one I got married to Lady M in.

One of the joys of cosplaying is how much you can reuse to differing effects across multiple characters – and create whole new ones with very little lead time.

Oh alright, I just like buying and hoarding weird odds and ends 😉
