Map – Hamlet

We had no DDC last night, so here’s a bit of a test map I did following the new update to Dungeon Alchemist. This version has now included the ability to shape and rotate structures – including being able to curve walls. This is something I’ve been waiting for, so I’m now working out the best way to use some of the new features, to build environmental storytelling. This map of a small hamlet of huts and a tavern is one of the first to come out of that, and it has allowed me to create a more organic feel to the site as the buildings curve around the main path and the river’s edge

I started with the building with the curved garden and the hilltop round building on the left of the river and just started playing from there. It was pretty much thrown together so will probably either end up being a quick and dirty ambush map, or revised a lot more if I have an idea for something more in-depth. Still, not a bad start. I’ve shared the DAM file at https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3266999899 if anyone wants to download it. The map above is sized for a 43×43 grid, including borders.
